About Kranok
Kranok is an organic typeface, inspired by one of the most important thai motif patterns, called Kranok pattern. Ideal for posters, branding and typography artworks.
This project is an attempt to create my own typeface that speaks about my identity and my homeland, Thailand. Kranok is a traditional category of decorative patterns. Taking inspiration largely from floral components, the motifs are delicate and fluid, conveying the quality of gentleness and beauty that Thais traditionally revere. Creating a typeface which is based on Kranok pattern, expresses my identity, thai gentleness and beauty in a wonderful way.
